Tell me again what you 'do'?

After doing all manner of studies in the metaphysical, spiritual, healing energies, shamanism and the like for over twenty years, I have devised a way to organize my readings. Here is a write up of what I currently offer in the form of a distant reading, without any face to face contact. I rather enjoy being one on one, doing the healing and channeling work, but in this day and age, one has to be versatile. I have enjoyed being under the radar, but Creator has deemed that I should get out to the public more, and to be available for any and all sorts of needs the can be met. So, here I am.
Let me know what you think, of if you'd like a reading or healing session. Typically the work is done on a donation basis, as that is the way of those on the red road.

You can also check out my developing web site,http://thecreatordeems.yolasite.com/ for more information.

Thank you...

Aura Bio Feedback Reading

The Aura-Bio Feedback Reading is an original concept created to show a holistic picture of an individual. ABF incorporates techniques developed and studied in over twenty years of research of alternative healing that officially started after the author was diagnosed with an incurable disease. Modern conventional medicine offered only painful, artificial and intrusive ‘remedies’.
What follows is a result of years of searching for the true meaning of health, well-being and disease, divinely inspired to be an individualized reading that will allow the client a new knowledge base with which to view his or her path to healing. Atsila Agisdii is not a doctor, nor does she claim to be. Instead, she hopes to open doorways to help you heal (to set right or repair). She does not claim to cure, only to make suggestions that may or may not resonate within your being. This non-invasive, experiential reading is a work in progress, and is not set in stone. It evolves as Atsila meditates on your auric field, and connects to your spirit guides, as Creator Deems fit best for you in that moment. The rest is up to you.

Sections of this diagnostic tool contain one or more of the following components:

Emotive overview- a look into the overall condition, emotional state and general character of the individual; done by reading of the aura, facial features and connecting to spirit guides
Current angelic sponsor - intuited connection to the client’s Harmony angel, drawn from the sacred Harmony Angel Cards by Angela McGerr.  This will show the client which angel to call upon to help address a current emotional situation and/or physical obstacle. Sometimes the guides will suggest a god/goddess, spirit guide, or other helper from the ethers. I will then include these names  here, with an explanation or link.
Herbal and/or nutritional suggestions- these are merely names of particular natural, live food items that may pop up in the reading that can help with a current need of the body. Take these at your own risk, knowing that the author has asked for your highest good at the reading, and are merely suggestions.
Essential Oils-much has been written about the value and properties of essential oils for healing, strengthening the intuitive and spiritual self because they are ‘alive’ and carry the essence/life force of the particular plant. The author uses only Young’s Essentials because she can attest to their superior quality and ingestibility for quick results. If it is merely a topic oil, Aura Cacia is a good brand for external use only.
Animal totem – gathered from Ted Andrews books, internet research and channeled information, this will explain an animal that is important as you transition into the future, what some of its traits are, and how it may help you evolve.
Color therapy – based on indigenous beliefs regarding how parts of the body are correlated with certain colors when healthy, if there is a lack or overabundance of a particular color or colors in the client’s aura, then particular colors are suggested to help balance the overall energy field. This author has studied and recommends googling Rosalyn Bruyere’s Wheels of Light for further information.
Crystals – myriad books are written discoursing the value, importance, and healing properties of crystals, which have been utilized across millennia. The Crystal Bible, by Judy Hall is a top pick, with this author’s being (anything by Melody)Love is in the Earth Series as beginner resources. Know that this author may recommend a stone for different purposes than typically known for; this is a wonderful trait of crystals-they have a way of becoming what the client needs.

Permawhat?

That's usually what folks say when they ask me what I 'do'. Well, I write, have a holistic, metaphysical forum, and am studying to complete an associates in Horticulture. My interests are organic farming, especially small scale urban and rural permaculture, sustainable living, forest gardening, lasagna gardening, layered composting, IPM, fabric pots, biodynamics, crystal chelation in soil and in container gardening, hypertufa, blessing the land, and working with plant and animal energy.

Say what? Farmers can't feed the world using organic methods. My daddy's daddy farmed on this land, and I aint a doin' it any diff'rnt...ain't nothin' wrong with fertilizers, Hell, we need it...Did you know you can drink Round Up..it ain't hurtin' nothin' but weeds....
Yep, they said it.

And, don't even call your local ag agent and ask how fresh your eggs have to be to sell them from your micro-farm to the public, or on average how old eggs are when you buy them in the local grocery store in comparison, because they won't tell you. Typically, eggs you buy in the store are over four months old from the time they were laid, and the local farmer just gathered hers the week or two before you bought 'em, if not the day you picked them up. Just sayin'...but we'll discuss livestock and poultry in a different post.

Today we're discussing why 'everybody' now wants to do their own gardening, and some of the many ways you can, too.

Good, wholesome produce costs more to buy, and it should. It takes a great deal of time and effort to prepare the soil as organically as one is able, to tend the produce, keep it bug free or to use as much IPM as possible, to water, the manpower to do all of the above. It is a good idea, then, to do small scale farming at home, and save money over the long run.

Processed foods are bad for you on so many levels, so returning to more natural, wholesome food sources that you create are much better for your family. Even when you buy fresh foods at stores, you have no idea what was sprayed on it, how it was 'decorated' or 'preserved' even while being in the store. Waxes, bug sprays, etc. not to mention who touched it while in the store, how many times it was dropped...and you have no way to know what was in the truck just before the food you're eating was transported in it, as well.

Gardening also adds to your living space, as outdoor rooms are becoming more and more popular, and it is an excellent classroom for your children, as well as a way to re-connect as a family. There's nothing like picking your own fruits and vegetables with your kids and letting them help prepare the dishes with you.

With all of the environmental dangers out there, adding to the diagnoses of people daily, what a great way to keep your loved ones safer when you study a more organic and natural way to eat. It then becomes a way of life, as your research expands into the way you live, the things you buy, how you spend your free time im improved, which will increase your health. You are also adding to the future, as recycling, composting, and simplifying your lifestyle with less use of carbon are making things better for the current and next generation.

Permaculture, Forest and Rain Gardens...
are a lifestyle development, a change for the better. This is all about how to create a space to live, how to stay in the flow of nature. Forest, or stack gardening is a great use of vertical space, especially when the growing space is small and confined. It can be as simple as putting edibles together of different heights so that there is a canopy, and understory and then groundcover.
http://spiralseed.co.uk/forest-gardening-in-the-city/
Then, there are fancy custom stack gardens...
http://alegriafresh.com/shop/vertical-gardens.html

Rain gardens are a really awesome idea, and go along with xeriscapes, as well, which is a big trend out west, as everyone is now scrambling for water, practically wherever they live.
A rain garden is a way to make use of a dry creek, mud hole or other place where water bogs up or collects by using plants that are native, and is a way to help conserve water.
A xeriscape is similar, but utilizes very dry, high drought areas, as a water conserving alternative to turf. See more about this  here, http://www.houzz.com/xeriscape.

Hopefully you can see how this is art, an act of love, a way to commune with nature, to enjoy with your own loved ones as you create these special places together.  Many, if not all, of the plants chosen are also edible, permanent, and the space can be enjoyed for years to come.

Tending the Garden

Gardener, Know thy soil!

Gardener - n. one who tends to or cultivates a garden; one who maintains a garden created by a landscape designer

In over thirty years of planting, I've learned that the key to success with growing anything is understanding where your plants are putting their feet.

But, that's not the first step.
Initially, there are three questions the potential gardener must answer, or, as I like to call them, the Sacred 'W's -Why do you want to plant, Where is the space you wish to use, and What are you planting, anyway?
So, do you walk around in the yard one day and notice for the first time that there's a huge, empty spot in the back that might be good for something besides weeds? Maybe your family is expecting and you decide new eating habits are in order. Perhaps you live in the mountains and your yard is mostly slope and you're tired of erosion, and want to see what landscape options you have. Like many people, maybe you live in a small space in the city, and feel frustrated at the lack of space or food options, and don't know where to start growing or even how. Figure that out first, and the rest will come much easier. To see why people have started this upsurge of permaculture, organic gardening, rain gardens, victory and forest gardens, click here http://thecreatordeems.blogspot.com/2013/06/permawhat.html

Now you are ready to walk around your outdoor living space and see what options you have. Note to self: any plant that bears edible food will require lots of sun. Duh. Like 60, 90-120 days of growing time on average. You can expect the plants to require direct sunlight 50-75% of that growing time, with an average of  8 to 12 hours of sunlight a day.

Well, you may have a mostly shady spot, or live in the woods. You may have a nearby stream or no access to water. The ground might be rocky, sandy, red clay or rich, loamy soil. So, all of these things will have to be considered.  For ideas or how to use the space you have, click here ____.

At this point, you can consider what works best for your available space. The cool thing is that most of us have several 'zones' or areas for planting; indoors and out, full shade, part-sun, full sun so that there can be a variety of foliage in your overall space. If you'd like to learn more about how sunlight conditions affect different plants, click here ____.

Many people, especially in the world of business, hire a garden/landscape designer or landscape architect to put the three 'W's together in an aesthetically pleasing and eco-friendly plan that gets the client the best garden possible for his/her budget. Other folks, who mean well, but really haven't studied horticulture or have any real field experience ramble about at garden centers, Southern States or the big box stores and pick out some plants they like, for whatever reason, then bring the purchases home and stick them in the ground. These same folks wring their hands, and wonder why a couple of weeks later that, " I don't have any luck with plants. I can't get anything to grow."

Developing our higher self, or spiritual self is done in much the same way. You could say that the Divine Creator is the garden/landscape designer, and we each become the gardener of our physical and spiritual development.

Some of us read all sorts of materials on world religion, spirituality, the metaphysical, self-help, discovering inner peace, connecting to the Higher Self, etc. Others of us learn by watching those with more experience; either by studying with a mentor, joining a particular church, learning and studying a daily meditational or spiritual practice, listening to meditational music or books on tape, or just going within, to the silence.

Then there are the weekend warriors, those that are just too busy to devote regular time to personal growth and development, randomly seeking direction here and there when the mood strikes or something really 'bad' is going on in their immediate present moment.

How your life develops, and what bounty you reap, depends on your consistency, time allowed and the depth of attention paid to your belief system. How closely do you look at yourself, listening to the small voice in the quiet of the Higher Self for answers to how to meet your needs? How often do you thank those in your life for the services they provide, for the unconditional love they bestow, for the support given by even the simplest of human interactions? Do you hold hands as a family and pray over the food that is nourishing your bodies, giving thanks for the animals and plants that gave their lives that you might live, and the hands that put the food from farm to table?

What we give is what we get, and what we reap shall be sown, and as above, so below. Path Weaver was always telling us Red Fox Sisters that. I do my best to try and remember that. Sometimes I fail miserably.

This is the success of failure of the gardener.

To really excel at gardening, to create a work of beauty, functionality and harvest the highest  plant yield, you have to get in the garden. That means every damn day, dude. Now, it is sometimes OK to take a day off here and there, but for the most part, you have to be present.

You've done the research, picked out what will grow in the zone you picked out, your amended the soil, made those lovely raised beds or hoed the row, put the best seedlings in the ground or planted the best seeds, watered well. Now you're just going to walk away and leave it to chance? You are f'in crazy.

My 84 year old mother, God bless her, walks the rows, every day, putting her wrinkly, gnarled hands in the soil, crumbling the topsoil around the poking hypocotyl, talking to the cotyledons, sprinkling water around afterwards, mumbling something about the soil's too hard, I tilled while the ground was too wet, I didn't put enough space between the rows, the rows are crooked, I planted to early, too late, didn't add enough lime, put in too much Black Cow or mushroom compost, blaa, blaa, blaa.

Nevermind that before I planted, I walked the space involved, chanting prayers, sprinkling tobacco or corn meal around the perimeter, thanking and  asking for permission from the Earth Mother, that the worms might come and live in this space especially, that the water would be adequate, that the sun would shine consistently, that the neighboring trees would not be cruel and overly shade the tomato plants this year, that the weather would be warm enough early on so that the seedlings would get a good start, that I wouldn't be tilling or breaking earth in a sacred spot that shouldn't be disturbed, and that the Creator would bless the work of my hands and the sweat of my brow.

Nevermind that I talked to each seed or seedling while I held it in my hand before planting, and thanked it for giving its life to feed my family, for agreeing to share its nutrients and benefits that my boys might grow big and strong and their bellies full in the deep of winter, and that my mother could have the joy of watching how beautiful everything would grow by leaps and bounds from her gentle touch.

Nevermind that I'm left-handed and prone to do things a little crooked. Sigh...

Every day we walk the rows, scouting for an increase in pests before they take over the entire green bean rows, weeding in between the corn's knobby feet so their nutrients and water aren't leached by the straggly, stemmy unproductive varmits, stopping here and there with our garden tools to scratch the earth when its too hard from a vicious summer rain, or days of sun without release, poking fingers here and there in the cool rows to see if we need to hand water, checking leaves for tell-tale discoloration indicating nutrition deficiency or mold and rot.

Every few weeks I have to "put it by", rolling between the rows with my big wheel cultivator, a hand pushed little plow that forces dirt back up on the side of the rows to help with erosion, mixing compost and manure that was side dressed several days ago, and semi broken down so the roots have better access to it after it's pushed closer to the plant.

We can't expect great results if we don't give great effort.

If I don't dedicate myself to several hours a day of reading on the latest healing modalities, scientific discoveries, listen to podcasts by the upcoming intuitive healers and holistic practitioners, how can I develop my craft?

If I don't meditate, sit in practice several times a week, then how will I know when Creator is giving me guidance, and when it is the ego struggling to maintain its close minded grip?

Mary, how does your garden grow?

Sacredness of Doubt

I am always surprised at the anger that skeptics display when I present myself as an energy worker or channel. As I work to develop my business and credibility, I know these are the somewhat beneficial creatures of the spiritual garden.

People as a whole are often frightened of these much needed creatures in a garden setting, and tend to stomp or smash them, if they don't run the other way first. The insects are just doing their jobs meanwhile; hunting aphids, protecting their nests or young, preying on garden parasites - and we  often frighten them first. Some examples of these would include- bees, wasps,  Damsel bugs, assassin bugs, green lacewing - to name a few. And who doesn't kill on sight any spiders or snakes, regardless of its size, name or colorings? Any gardener worth his weight in  worm poop will create an environment to actually nurture these somewhat aggressive 'bugs', as they truly aid the garden's infrastructure.

The same is true of a doubting Thomas. It is actually a sign of intelligence to question the integrity of a hypothesis we haven't proven for ourselves, or perhaps seen in action. It brings me great joy to struggle along with the angry, abandoned inner child trapped within the wounded adult's soul until I can find a way inside to offer unconditional love, peace and perhaps even joy.

It is one thing to question, to ask for understanding or more clarity on a topic, yet quite another to put down, insult and blatantly defamate someone's character due to unresolved anger. If someone wishes to ask for explanations and references, I will do my best to cite scientific research on the type of work I do, offer complementary practitioners as resources, or to give reference to appropriate books. If someone tells me they don't believe me, that is fine.

As an empath, I have to be so careful around people in general, because if I am not grounded and entrenched in my spiritual practice before getting around those in emotional distress, I digest and internalize their emotions as my own. Then their emotions become mine, we are both agitated and serious conflict can occur.

My experience has been that people who decry and insult my natural born talents (or curse, depending on how you look at it), have suffered a serious wrong in their early years. This wounded inner child has harbored these deep hurts for many years, and this child, or children depending on how many hurts occurred over time until adulthood, rules the emotions of the adult.

In particular, it tends to stem from the person being told as a child that angels, ghosts, entities, etc. didn't exist, when the child clearly did see something in his closet, or grandpa at the foot of his bed, or a little angel next to him on the school bus seat.

Children are so pure and innocent, full of faith in their world, and having the crystal vision of a sacred soul that is still fresh from Creator that they are able to 'just be', accepting what they see as true. We, as a carbon dense, emotionally wounded adult feel we have to tell our children how and what to think, when to think it, what is appropriate, and what is not. Living out of fear, we think controlling the child will keep them safe, breaking the spirit will calm him down. Yes, this is stemming from love, but is misguided because we move into doubt, created by fear, and away from faith in the Divine, and no longer trusting our inner Divine guidance or intuition of our Higher Self.

Here is where the intuition begins to corrode, as the child learns he must second guess every feeling he has, because he must continue to be wrong so that the parent remains 'right' or in control. Sometimes the conscience is destroyed, as well as the intuition because the parent continually goes against what is natural law, so that the child learns unethical behavior, is covered in toxic shame, and loses a sense of self.

As these children go through life, they then seek to damage or destroy anything or one they come in contact with anyone who dares to speak truth, because then it forces the inner child to look inside, to the place where the soul sits, and truth resides, and that beautiful place is filled with pain and abandonment.

I often use the movie Powder from 1995 as an example of this. He is so gentle, magical, and special that the others can't stand his innocence and closeness to the life force. So, what happens? He is killed. I have often felt this way, cursed for my extra-sensory gifts, because people hate me for being able to see inside, to know their truths. However, it is only through  being vulnerable that we can connect to the Divine, and to each other.

When I " read" you, I don't have to sit in front of you, ask you any questions, even know what you look like, if you will email me your name and birthdate. I resonate with vibronics, what your body resonates with, the pictures, images, symbols, sounds, spirit guides, animal totems, sky walkers, sacred geometry- whatever resonates around your being. I love to look at your pictures, sit with you, chat, but the many readings done in the past year over the whole world are done solely from a full name and birthdate only. Sometimes I may have to ask you to give me permission to do a reading, or to ask your gatekeeper to please allow me access to your auric field, but very little else is required.

This is why I love a doubting Thomas. You so full of anger, hurt, covered in shame and guilt, you Need a loving person to comfort you with messages from the angelic realm, sharing memories and secrets that I could not possibly know. Just as Thomas was visited by Christ, and he touched the wounds, then he went forth to preach to all nations. When I sit in the quiet, and tell you that Charlie is here with me, and when you were hurting, or sad or being abused, he would come and comfort you when no one else would, and that this was your spirit guide, that you weren't imagining things or hearing voices, and the years of pent up anger, fear and grief roll forth, it is worth EVERY cruel comment I've ever endured as a practicing intuitive/healer.
When I can hold your hand, or hug you while you pour out that hidden pain, relief, shame and whisper lovingly to you, "God heard you. He sent Charlie to help you while you suffered through your life struggles to evolve," it takes away my breath, and I am truly humbled by the Divine power and love of Creator God.

So, I will tend my apiaries, walk around the snake sunning on a rock, and bring in praying mantis egg sacs to be nurtured and until  they safely hatch, burst out and swarm the kitchen counter and open windows to be free.

Got bugs?
